Hard & Soft skills for product designers

My list of skills for product managers has been very useful to many people, as far as I understood from their feedback.

This month at https://typical.company we will launch the new service — we will start helping companies to hire the best product designers. To do that I have been researching the profession of a product designer for a while. Even though I had experience of being responsible for design department in my previous workplace, I wanted to get a more holistic overview on the topic. I talked to several designers, studied designers’ grades and requirements in various international companies. Finally, I came up with the list of skills that need to be varified in order to understand product designer’s degree and ability to work effectively in a product-oriented company. Here it is.
